“I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Tipsy Butler. It’s a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary with the thickest bath mat And most comfortable bed ever. The breakfast was delicious with lots of local ingredients. Stephanie and her husband Jesse were friendly, hospitable and eager to meet my needs. All within an easy walk into the center of bustling Damariscotta. Topping it all off is the Tipsy Butler’s EV charger (Level 2)! I settled in for the night knowing my EV would be fully charged in the morning so I continue on my adventures. I highly recommend Tipsy Butler!”

“We had such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back! Our room was beautiful, and we felt right at home (but even better!). The sauna and ice bath we’re definitely a treat. “The Tipsy Butler was the perfect home base from which to explore all of Damariscotta and the surrounding area! Stephanie was a gracious host and cooked us some of the best breakfasts we’ve had. You will not be needing lunch (though it’s hard to turn down local oysters!) after breakfast at the Tipsy Butler. A very easy walk into downtown Damariscotta (where vehicle traffic can get jammed up) and all the amazing bars, restaurants, and art galleries that the town has to offer. Can’t wait to visit again!”

“I can’t rave enough about the Tipsy Butler and Stephanie. My room was beautiful, spacious and very very clean. The bed was so comfy. Lovely towels and furnishings. “We were able to stay here 3 nights on our recent trip to the North East and now that we are home can officially say it was a highlight and our favorite accommodations the whole trip. “My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the bed linens are absolutely dreamy! Stephanie considered my food preferences, and I appreciated the mocktail option she provided in addition to a variety of beers and wines. “Just spent 2 nights at the Tipsy Butler. We had a huge room with a king size bed and two comfortable chairs. In addition there was plenty of public space which you were encourage to use. Plenty of games and books were also provided. We were asked what time we wanted to have our breakfast, which was a lovely meal. Jessica was a very great host and gave us some great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. We will be going back the next time we are in the area.”

“We stayed here one night and were very well cared for by Stephanie, Jesse and family. They were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and they easily handled all of our food allergy needs. Everyone (including the kitties and dog!) were kind to my curious toddler. The location is great. The bed are comfy and the rooms beautifully furnished. They even have Nespresso machines in the rooms! Yum!!”

“My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Great bed, great shower, Alexa in the room, new flat screen TV, beautiful maple hard wood floors and your own ductless HVAC unit. The breakfast was second to none. We took the short walk to downtown Damariscotta for dinner and enjoyed some of the best seafood in the world. I would definitely recommend staying at the Tipsy Butler and we look forward to coming back the next time we are in the area.”

“Absolutely fabulous breakfast worthy of a food network show! Old world elegance with completely modern updates. For the tech savy they have everything. The most comfortable bed I have slept in in my 60 years on this earth. You never feel away from home as you are welcomed as family and we hated to leave. This is the best B&B we have stayed in during our many travels in Maine. We are truly looking forward to staying here again!”
