A: Yes! A two-course home cooked breakfast is served each morning of your stay. We use fresh, local ingredients to craft a special start for your day’s adventures. It is easy for us to create a menu that meets your needs regardless of allergies or preferences; gluten-free or vegetarian, no problem! See our Breakfast page for photos and sample menu items.
A: Yes! All guest rooms have a heat pump/mini-split so that you can control the temperature of the room all year round.
A: Yes! We occasionally close in the winter for brief family breaks but those are noted on our reservation calendar and we are happy to host you through Maine’s beautiful 4 seasons!
A: Add more layers and go play outside! Bring an extra wool sweater and warm socks, some long underwear, and hat and mittens. There is lots to do in Maine in the winter: snowshoe or cross-country skiing, ice skating, use the sauna or hike at Hidden Valley Nature Center. We are happy to help you craft a fun Maine winter getaway and can help secure gear rentals if you need them.
A: Yes! Multigenerational family groups are so much fun to host! Family members get to have their own private room but use the common areas of the house for group activities. Think: card games around the dining room table or relaxing around the campfire making s’mores.
A: Yes! We have a high-speed EV charger on site which is complimentary for guest use and are happy to talk about all things EV.
A: Yes! We have two kids of our own and welcome your children to our B&B. We have a pack and play available for families with small children to use and two of our rooms sleep 3 or 4 people (Overlook and Hudson) which are great for families.
